Wyatt has written about the junior high basketball games from last week.

This week we had a basketball tourn we lost both are games. we got creamed by duck water 35-0. we barley lost to WP it was 10-12 I got hurt. In the game I pulled some thing I think my parents enjoyed it. One thing that makes me sad is that my dad couldn’t come to my games but me and all my friends had a great time. Jace scored 4 pits I scored 2  Garett 4 and Jackson scored 2 points. But over all im still proud of the team.

Christmas Party

Reagan D. wrote about our class Christmas Party.

For our Christmas party we  picked  a number and whoever  that person was that’s who you got.
It was on the 17 of December. We all got a present from our  teacher that was a  book from the book fair. Our class had a big Christmas tree  but it was fake and it was so  pretty.
For our party we watched a movie and it was really funny. We played some games. We eat treats and they were so good. Oh and some of us went to recess and some stayed and  watched  the movie.

And that is what we did for our Christmas party.

Colonial Projects

We spent the last little bit working on the 13 Colonies.  Each student presented information about one of the colonies.  Kaycee has written about the project.

For are colonial project we had to pick one of the thirteen colonies off the broad. Then we had to pick to do a poster, power point, slide show, or a pamphlet. For a poster you had to do facts also pictures of the ruler and the founder of your colony. For a slide show or a power point you had to do it on the computer though our teacher said you shouldn’t do the slide show because the computers were acting weirdly.

So the only ones you could do was poster or a pamphlet. For the pamphlet you had to fold a piece of paper and do facts also information and a picture of the ruler and founder of the colony. So it was basically the same thing as the poster though smaller. Also if you did the pamphlet you would have to present it to the class. You also had a week to do the project. So on Monday you would bring you project to school and present it to the class.

The Farthest-Away Mountain

We just finished reading The Farthest-Away Mountain.  The kids really seemed to enjoy it.  Wyatt has written a report on the story.

For the read out loud book we read the farthest away mountain it was a fiction book I liked it I think I got 90%.
The characters were Dakin , crock, Drakamaug , and the witch. I liked the book but I don’t know if the others did.

There was a lithely pool that the witch fell in to and she died. If I had to rank this book 1-10 it would be a 9! Drakamaug is a ogre he is huge he has a bet thing it is wired. Dakin is the prettiest girl in the village she wants to meet a gargoyle and oh ya by the way there were 3. and she wanted to marry a prince and that’s all I could think of.

Junior High Basketball

The 5th graders are playing junior high ball.  This is the first time they have been allowed to do that and they are really enjoying playing with the big kids.  Justin has written about this weekend's games.

On January Ninth the girls and boys Lund Jr. High team went to Duckwater. Both Lund teams lost. The girls lost by like 12 and the boys lost by 18. On the Tenth we went to Ely and had a tournament. Both teams played White Pine and Round Mountain. We both killed Round Mountain but lost to White Pine.
